Contaminated Sites Auditing

Stuart Jeffries has more than 30 years experience in groundwater and the environment & previously in oil & gas exploration. With over 21 years auditing experience, he was one of the first to be accredited in WA in 2006. Stuart has:

  • Completed in excess of 45 audit reports in WA, including industrial sites, dairy operations, landfills, petroleum storage & retail & market garden redevelopments, for in excess of 180 lots;
  • Project Managed &/or Directed well in excess of 250 projects;
  • Undertaken environmental liability assessments for >20 operating/ closed landfills, & >50 bulk fuel storages;
  • Prepared & implemented Remedial Action Plans (RAPs) for mixed diesel/ organo-chlorine spills, acidic metal-rich plumes, >3Ml diesel spillages, & hypersaline leakage recovery;
  • Undertaken fully quantitative to qualitative risk assessments, including tier 1, 2 & 3 human-health & ecological assessments.

  • An audit gives you the certainty you requirethat these liabilities are fully understood and your site has been managed by your Consultant, and that your site is suitable for purpose.
  • In most circumstances the Regulator will require an audit before it will review and report submitted to it.
