Stuart Jeffries, Principal Hydrogeologist

M.Sc, C.Geol, FGS

DER Accredited Contaminated Sites Auditor

Stuart has more than 20 years groundwater & environmental experience within WA & interstate, and a further 7 years’ in the UK, Hong Kong & Europe.
He was WA’s first Accredited Contaminated Sites Auditor when the scheme commenced in 2006 and has completed over 45 audits for land developers, industrial and commercial clients and government, and provides expert opinion to environmental solicitors.

Sarah Jeffries,  Company Secretary

Sarah has been Company Secretary since our inception in 1999, and is an Executive Officer. She is a graduate of Interdisciplinary Human Studies, and holds postgraduate diplomas in Education, Business Studies and Accountancy. In addition, she has been active in teaching, volunteering, and is a Member of the Finance Committee on the Willetton Senior High School Board.

Andy Kirker, Lead Spatial Analyst Geosciences Modelling

D.Phil (Oxon)

Andy trained in 1990’s in geology and geophysics, has 5 years of graduate research and teaching experience, and is a Graduate of Curtin University Spatial Sciences group.
In recent years, he has contributed to groundwater and environmental consultancy, including development of the Department of Water Gascoyne River numerical model, and aquifier reviews and contaminated sites work for Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Coogee Chemicals and FQM Nickel.

Steve Bethell, Business Development Executive

Steve is our business development executive and works closely with Stuarts’ consultants to create solutions for the varied needs of our growing client base.
Steve has been working part time ‘behind the scenes’ with HS for ten plus years.
Having lived and worked in Perth since 1980, Steve has a very good working knowledge of WA’s economic landscape. He’s a good listener and project planner, and is available around the clock to discuss your next project.

Steffen Schulz, Lead Civil Engineer, Urban Water Design & Management

Steffen has 15 years experience in consultancy & government as a design engineer in Europe and Australia.
He has been Project Lead on hydraulic engineering and construction projects including the A380 Airbus assembly line in France, a major waste water treatment plant in Germany, reconstruction of a hydro-electric power plant in Norway.
